Treatment can be uncomfortable and push us to be vulnerable, so it is essential to build trust before we dig deeper. I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of California, Berkeley, and have gained training and experiences that make me well-rounded. However, most clients care more about the value of treatment than the alphabet soup of therapy modalities. The experience was pretty good but the lack of communication was surprising for a therapist. She's a nice person and good at giving typical therapist advice for relationships. If you go with her just don't expect her to show up for all your appointments or to communicate about rescheduling.
