Psychotherapist
FL
Hi there, I'm Amanda! Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and I strive to make that process feel comfortable and supportive. I work with adults and couples facing a variety of challenges, helping them gain insight, strengthen relationships, develop coping skills, and move toward a more fulfilling life. My focus I support adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and identity concerns. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, therapy can help you gain clarity, build confidence, strengthen relationships, and create healthier patterns. My approach My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. I believe therapy should provide both understanding and practical tools for navigating life’s challenges. Using CBT, ACT, and Solution-Focused Therapy, I help clients gain insight, develop healthier patterns, build coping skills, and create meaningful change. My communication style I strive to create a comfortable, open environment where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. My communication style is conversational and collaborative, with space for both reflection and honest feedback. I’ll meet you where you are while also gently challenging you when it may help you grow and make the changes you’re seeking. My journey to mental healthcare My journey to becoming a counselor began with a passion for understanding people, relationships, and personal growth. After studying Human Development and Family Science, I pursued graduate training in counseling, where clinical experiences deepened my passion for helping individuals and couples navigate challenges and create meaningful change.
