“10/10. Hands down the best therapist I’ve ever worked with. I had tried 6-7 over a few years and gave up completely for a while. I told myself I’d give it one final try and was lucky enough to have Amanda. She’s authentic and actually cares (if you know you know). I could write an essay (don’t worry, I won’t) but overall- amazing therapist and I’m grateful to be working with her.”

Getting to know Amanda Crane

I have dedicated my career to learning how to be a more trauma-informed provider because I strongly believe that we have all experienced adversities that have greatly impacted us, even if we do not always know how to process them. I wanted to figure out how to support humans through those hardest moments because you are deserving of that. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Springfield College and am currently certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Psychological First Aid. I remain committed to furthering my education through trainings and certifications.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Our first couple of sessions are so important because that is where you can expect us to spend our time getting to know one another for you to decide if I'll be a good fit for you during this time. Building a strong alliance will be a priority in our sessions so you become comfortable sharing the challenges you are facing. We will continuously collaborate to create and review an individualized plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
