Getting to know Amanda Dutton

Are you tired of feeling like you're dealing with your emotions on your own? Having a hard time finding a therapist that “gets it?” Well, look no further! You've found someone who's ready to show up and get stuff done! I believe in the power of laughter, joy, and a sprinkle of fun, even when dealing with serious matters. I'm not your average therapist-this isn't like what you see on TV-nah, I'll be real, honest, and down-to-earth (and might even cuss a little). I have a special interest in a few populations that make me a little different from others, and I also love working with motivated folks who are ready to get their anxiety and depression under control. I earned my Master's in Psychology from the University of Phoenix and my PhD in Medical Psychology from Northcentral University, which helps me bring a well-rounded, informed approach to therapy. Read on to learn more about me, and let's get started!

What should a new client know about working with you?

Therapy doesn't have to be a dry, boring experience—I’ll infuse it with compassion (and a touch of sarcasm). I believe healing can happen with a smile on your face. My therapy sessions are designed to be engaging, incorporating collaboration with you about your goals, and we’ll figure out what works and what doesn’t, together.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
