Getting to know Amanda Kelleghan

The constant pressures of daily life, particularly during a pandemic, can leave us feeling overwhelmed, scared, and alone. As we navigate challenges involving school, work, relationships, life transitions, and grief and loss, it's common to feel hopeless, as if we cannot go on. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's in Social Work from Aurora University, I provide support and guidance to help you identify unhealthy thoughts, feelings, and behaviors so you can make positive, sustainable changes to improve your quality of life. I specialize in working with females aged 16 and older on a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-harming behavior, and poor self-esteem. I also have extensive experience with trauma-related issues, addictive behavior and substance abuse, marriage and family therapy, grief and loss, and dementia. I believe that feeling connected with your therapist is the most important component of therapy. I offer non-judgmental, compassionate support in a safe and confidential environment. Please feel free to contact me at your earliest convenience to see if I might be a good fit for you!

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
