Amanda Martin, LCSW

Psychotherapist
CA
Hi there! My name is Amanda and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Clinical Trauma Provider. My background is a combination of trauma and community-based mental health and I work with clients with an array of diverse backgrounds. Clients that I most frequently work with are experiencing highly intrusive mental health and trauma symptoms, including anxiety and depression related to post traumatic stress disorder. My work with clients involves finding out how to address the concerns that stop you from living a fulfilling life. Finding answers to question such as: How can we move from surviving to thriving, becoming the best version of what we want for ourselves? How do we achieve balance in life and build meaningful, healthy relationships? What can we do with intrusive thoughts, shame, and fear that stop us from working on life goals? Therapy can be part of the equation to moving forward. The work that I do with clients involves a collaborative approach creating a healing and supportive space to start moving toward what you want out of life. Prior to becoming a psychotherapist I spent seven years in crisis work, working with individuals experiencing domestic violence and sexual assault. My background also includes working with individuals experiencing homelessness, incarceration, substance use, and severe and persistent mental health issues. If you feel that I would be a good fit for you, I would be happy to start working with you. Let's see if we can work together to move you to thriving.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
