As a dedicated and compassionate therapist, I offer more than just a listening ear; I provide a truly warm and supportive space where you can feel safe to explore your deepest thoughts and feelings without judgment. Together, we'll forge a collaborative partnership, identifying your unique strengths and crafting personalized strategies to achieve your goals. My specialization lies in providing ongoing, consistent care tailored to help young adults like you not only manage immediate difficulties but also foster lasting positive change and cultivate greater well-being. If you're ready to embark on a journey towards a more fulfilling and empowered life, I invite you to reach out. Let's connect and see how we can work together. My therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based practices like CBT and IFS, and tailored to your unique needs. I believe in the power of a strong therapeutic relationship to foster self-discovery and growth. Let's take the first step together towards a more fulfilling future.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Working with me means stepping into a therapeutic experience that's both warm and deeply collaborative. You can expect a dedicated partner committed to understanding your unique journey, offering not just support but also practical strategies tailored to your needs. My approach is to empower you with tools for lasting change, fostering resilience and clarity in a space where you always feel heard, respected, and genuinely cared for. What to Expect in Your First Session In our first session, my primary goal is to create a comfortable and welcoming environment where you feel at ease. We'll start by discussing what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from our time together. This is your opportunity to share your story, at your own pace, and for me to begin understanding your unique experiences and challenges. I'll ask some questions to get a clearer picture of your background and current situation, but please know there's no pressure to share anything you're not ready for. This initial meeting is also a chance for you to ask me any questions you have about my approach, what therapy looks like, or anything else on your mind. By the end of our first session, we'll have a clearer idea of how we can work together towards your goals, and you'll leave with a sense of clarity and a hopeful path forward.

I look forward to my weekly sessions with Amanda!! Since working together, she has helped me grow in so many ways, and she is truly someone I feel I can share anything with. Amanda has taught me a lot when it comes to myself, and the tools I can use to help me navigate through life and any obstacles.
Amanda has changed my perspective on therapy. For the first time I feel like I am getting the most out of speaking to someone. We’re working on issues in my past, how to deal with them in present day and how I want to continue to carry myself in the future. I also find her to be super relatable which helps me open up.
Amanda is such a great provider and always makes sure you feel comfortable! She always responds in a timely manner and is super flexible. I always feel seen with her after ever session we have, I often find myself looking forward to our next sessions! She truly has been so wonderful to work with, I highly recommend her.
Working with Amanda Phillips has been life-changing. Her compassion, insight, and patience are apparent in every session. After years of working together, I can honestly say that Amanda is the best therapist I have ever had. She helps me feel in control of my neurodivergence, helps me find kindness for myself when I am struggling, and prepares me with tools to succeed outside of our sessions. I cannot recommend Amanda Phillips highly enough-- her practice has helped me build compassion for myself and find joy in doing the work of personal growth.
I would highly recommend Amanda to anyone new to or experienced with therapy. She's an incredible therapist: kind, curious, patient. I have had countless truly meaningful sessions with her and always feel comfortable in our conversations. She's the best!
I’ve been meeting with Amanda for over a year now, and she has always been professional, non judgemental, and is a safe space for me. I’ve been in and out of therapy throughout the years, and I’ve never felt more comfortable with someone as I do with Amanda! I highly recommend her, and I’m grateful for my weekly sessions!
It was my very first appointment EVER. Currently I am happy with her, she has been extremely understanding to my situation and is allowing me a safe space to discuss the trial and tribulations that is thrown at us in life.

Amanda has been so helpful in my life ever since I started seeing her. Before her, I was new to therapy and had tried out a few different people. She made me feel so at ease, safe, and comfortable. It felt like the right fit and it was the best decision. I highly recommend her to anyone who is new to therapy, unsure where to start, or looking for someone that truly gets you. She’s amazing.
I've tried a few different therapists over the years, Amanda has been the most empathetic, and caring one to date. She always focuses on the important topics, and helps me talk through my trauma without being triggered.
