Psychotherapist
CA
Hi there, I'm Amanda! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience supporting individuals and families through some of life’s most challenging moments. I specialize in women’s and perinatal mental health and support clients navigating anxiety, depression, motherhood, grief, relationships, and major life transitions. My focus I work with women navigating anxiety, depression, pregnancy and postpartum, infertility, grief and loss, parenting, divorce, blended families, and major life transitions. I especially enjoy helping women who spend so much time caring for others that they've lost touch with themselves along the way. My approach My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to you. I draw from relational and humanistic perspectives while incorporating CBT and ACT. Together, we'll explore what you're experiencing, understand patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and find practical ways to help you feel more grounded and connected. My communication style My style is warm, genuine, and nonjudgmental. I'll listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and give you space to be yourself. I also offer honest feedback, new perspectives, and gentle challenges when helpful. I want therapy to feel like a place where you can exhale and talk openly about the things that are hard to say elsewhere. My journey to mental healthcare For over a decade, I've supported children and families through health crises, grief, loss, and major life changes as a medical social worker. My experiences, including becoming a mother, deepened my interest in women's and perinatal mental health and led me to earn my Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C).
