Getting to know Amanda Sayers

Hi there, I'm Amanda! My name is Amanda Sayers, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master's degree in Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy from the University of Phoenix. Sometimes the messy parts of life can lead to feeling lost, overwhelmed, stressed out, and in need of change. During these times, individuals may benefit from seeking the support of a therapist. Therapy offers an opportunity to gain insight, self-awareness, heal, and change unhelpful patterns to improve your quality of life. My approach In my practice, I use a collaborative approach to guide individuals on their journey of healing, personal growth, and transformation. I utilize a trauma-focused approach and often draw upon my experience with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy by integrating mindfulness-based strategies in sessions. I also teach skills to help manage emotional distress and navigate relationships. My focus I typically provide therapy to adults experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and trauma, including low self-esteem, feelings of worthlessness, worry, overthinking, avoidance, isolation or withdrawal, difficulty managing emotions, and challenges in relationships. My communication style I offer a compassionate and collaborative approach to support individuals in achieving their goals on their path to mental wellness.
