Hi there, I'm Amanda! I'm Amanda Uliasz, a licensed clinical social worker. I graduated with a Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from the University of New England in 2017. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and ADHD, as well as self-esteem and LGBTQIA+ issues. My approach I utilize an integrative therapeutic approach, meaning I select techniques from different therapeutic orientations best suited for each individual. I implement a client-centered treatment approach and believe each individual is the expert of their own life. My focus I work with individual adults and adolescents, specializing in LGBTQ+ affirming therapy. I am a member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) and an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP). I provide assessment and treatment to assist with managing ADHD symptoms. I also treat anxiety disorders, with a focus on obsessive-compulsive disorder. My communication style I strive to foster a safe space for my clients within a calm setting. I often incorporate a humoristic twist, emphasizing building positive client rapport based on authentic human connection. My journey to mental healthcare I genuinely enjoy connecting with people. When I was young, I worked with a therapist who helped me through a particularly difficult period of my life, and since then, I’ve known this is the career I wanted to pursue.
