Getting to know Amber Lloyd

Trauma affects us all differently and it is important to find someone who understands you at the core to help you work through those issues. I strive to meet my clients where they are, in whatever stage of life to help them work through trauma they have experienced in their life. Together, we will find a pace that feels good for you so that you are more comfortable working through uncomfortable things that you have experienced.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Beyond trauma work, I also work with people who struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and personality disorders. Rapport building is my main goal in a therapy session because I believe that you must feel comfortable with me to be able to work on things that have been bothering you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Therapy for me means that we are two people in a room trying to work through issues and struggles. I maintain that viewpoint throughout our working relationship together and believe that therapy can look a myriad of different ways. Together, you and I will determine what therapy should look like, what goals are appropriate, and how we can facilitate healing for you!

It’s common for mental health providers to be out-of-network. Many insurance plans offer out-of-network coverage, so you may get partially reimbursed. Learn more

Out-of-pocket fees and assistance
Initial session: $150 for 60 minutes
Ongoing session: $150 for 60 minutes
  • Files your insurance claim: You pay the session fee upfront and the provider files the claim for you, so you can get reimbursed directly without worrying about the paperwork
  • Charges post-reimbursement amount: This provider will only charge you for the amount you pay after you get reimbursed from your insurance plan, so you don’t need to pay the session fee upfront

More information on payments and coverage

I am an in-network provider with Aetna, Cigna, UHC/Optum and TriWest. For clients using out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill to support reimbursement. I’m also happy to work with you to help keep therapy as affordable as possible.
