Hey there, my name is Amelia. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Alabama. By taking a compassionate and warm approach, I help my clients heal from the past and make meaningful change in the present. My priority is to build authentic, honest relationships with my clients. Through building a trusting relationship, my hope is that you feel comfortable to explore your emotions and unpack past experiences that may be hindering you in your present life. I believe therapy should be engaging, supportive, and responsive.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Through working together, I help my clients understand their story, gain freedom from their past, and move toward a more fulfilling and free life. I believe that you are the expert on yourself, and I am here to listen, help foster personal growth, and alleviate suffering from anxiety for women from all aspects of life. As a therapist, comfort throughout the therapy process is a primary goal.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

I’m very thankful to have found Amelia during a really hard time in my life. Every week is like a breath of fresh air as she helps me digest and work through what is going on. Amelia is a kind and compassionate person and just so easy to talk to. She's so open-minded with a wealth of knowledge about so many different things. She's been so helpful. I never feel judged and I feel like we're always working together. Overall, I'm so thankful to have a therapist that I feel so comfortable talking to, someone who can feel relatable and understanding but also offers a different perspective. That's exactly what I was looking for in a therapist.

Amelia was incredibly kind and understanding throughout our session. She took the time to really listen to both of us and made sure each of our perspectives were heard.
