Getting to know Amy Barnwell

Hello, my name is Amy Barnwell. Everyone experiences transitions in life and at times needs additional support in navigating these changes. Finally Me Counseling PLLC is a place where individuals are celebrated and encouraged to live happy and fulfilling lives-true to their authentic selves. Whether you are challenged with symptoms of anxiety, depression, or other concerns, there is hope, and you can begin again. I hold a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. My approach is collaborative, and I utilize experience and training from diverse environments to influence the counseling modalities and strategies emphasized in sessions to address the specific needs of my clients.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Initial sessions are 60 minutes while follow-up sessions are 45 minutes. I specialize in treating anxiety and depression. I offer a supportive environment for individuals with a variety of challenges. I approach treatment from a collaborative perspective and my goal is to assist those seeking positive change. I have over 10 years of experience working with individuals, couples, families, and military members.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
