Psychotherapist
CA
Hi there, I'm Amy! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, and self-esteem concerns. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward in an important area of their lives. My focus I especially enjoy working with adults who are navigating major life changes, relationship concerns, anxiety, depression, or challenges with self-worth. Whether you’re facing a difficult transition, struggling in relationships, or feeling disconnected from the life you want, therapy can provide a space to gain clarity, heal, and grow. My approach I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely seen, understood, and supported. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in helping clients better understand themselves while building practical tools for change. Together, we can explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and create a new path of understanding and empowerment. My communication style I aim to communicate from a caring, and supportive place free from judgement. I am here to listen and help you make sense of your experiences as well as reflecting back what I hear. I also like to ask questions to help you explore more deeply. And to me laughter can be a great healer, so humor can always have its place. My journey to mental healthcare I believe relationships and genuine acceptance are great healers, and help us live healthy and fulfilling lives. My goals for you We are in this together, so its a top priority for us to collaborate on goals as well as really have a concrete understanding of how we will know we've reached that goal. I often check in with clients throughout our time together to see how they feel sessions are progressing and if any changes in style or goals should be made.
