Getting to know Amy Greenberg

Hi. I am a licensed clinical social worker in California, Nevada, and Utah. I earned my bachelor's degree from Hofstra University and my master's degree in social work from Columbia University in 2004. My goal is to work with you to ensure that your therapy goals are met, adapting different treatment methods to fit your individual needs. I have always had an empathetic nature and have been drawn to helping others. I began volunteering and working in therapeutic environments during college, and after graduation, I went directly to graduate school to pursue my master's degree. My experience in a variety of settings has helped shape my therapeutic style. My approach I collaborate with you to meet your therapy goals, using a range of treatment models such as motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and strengths-based techniques. My approach is open and nonjudgmental. I work with adults on issues including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life transitions, troubled relationships, grief, personal growth, and addiction. My focus There is no ideal client-everyone has unique needs. Together, we will find the right style of therapy for you. My communication style I work closely with my clients to discover what works and what doesn't in therapy. My hope is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel understood and supported. I want to offer a place where you feel comfortable sharing your thoughts, feelings, and emotions. I always remind my clients that therapy is their time-this is all about you. I will adapt treatment methods to meet your individual needs, integrating approaches like motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and strengths-based techniques.
