I treat people who are struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, teens in crisis, and interpersonal relationship challenges, including couples counseling and family therapy. I work with clients from adolescence through senior adulthood. My approach is person-centered, strengths-based, and holistic. I see clients at the Oak Park location. Amy Tomaso is a Licensed Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree from Dominican University's Graduate School of Social Work, where she graduated with honors and is a member of the Phi Alpha Social Work Honor Society. She has been with Innovative Counseling Partners, LLC since August 2017. Previously, Amy worked at Sarah's Inn, a domestic violence agency in Oak Park, providing group and individual therapy to women affected by domestic violence. Amy earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in English from the University of Dayton. She works with individuals, couples, families, and groups and is passionate about supporting adolescents through seniors. Amy's goal is to help clients achieve their therapy goals and strive to live their best lives. She is especially interested in assisting those with anxiety, depression, teens in crisis, and interpersonal relationship issues, including family therapy, marriage counseling, and trauma recovery. Born and raised in Oak Park, Amy currently resides in River Forest with her husband and three children.
