Hello, I'm Amy. I decided to become a therapist very early in life. My mother suffered from mental illness, which inspired me to spend my life helping others. This personal experience has deeply influenced my approach to therapy. I not only have the education and experience, but I also have first-hand knowledge of how important it is to take care of ourselves and our mental health. With over 20 years of experience, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of age groups, from early adolescents to the geriatric population. My communication style is genuine, personable, and supportive. I strive to make each client feel accepted, listened to, and validated. As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, I specialize in a variety of areas including dementia, eating disorders, medical issues and physical health, OCD, phobias, PTSD, spirituality, stress, trauma, depression, anxiety, and grief/bereavement. My goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment.
