Getting to know Amy Lee

I believe that every person has an innate drive to seek and forge a path toward their own wholeness, healing, and growth. Therapy can be an important and courageous step in this process. My goal as your therapist is to meet you where you are and collaborate with you to move toward where you want to be. I have worked with diverse families, individuals, and groups across the lifespan. I address issues related to grief and loss, trauma, relationship conflict, anxiety, depression, memory care and Alzheimer's disease, end-of-life issues, addiction, and acculturation. I am especially passionate about helping individuals work through and find meaning in major life transitions, new endings, and beginnings. Per my clients' choice, I use art and drama therapy to offer opportunities to view their stories and difficulties in a new light. I value supporting my clients in developing tools and behavioral skills that enable them to make changes within their control and connect to their inner power. I believe therapy and change are ongoing processes that can be scary. My priority is to provide a supportive, brave, and non-judgmental therapeutic space where you can feel safe to be your authentic self and move at your own pace. I am committed to honoring your self-agency, unique identities, and ways of relating to the world. I commend you for taking this important next step in your journey and would love to work alongside you. I hold a Master's in Social Work from California State University, Fresno, which informs my approach and commitment to compassionate, client-centered care.
