Getting to know Amy Morantes

Hi! My name is Amy Morantes, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida. I have provided individual therapy for people ages 18 to 80 years old. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Family Studies from the University of Maryland and a Master’s in Social Work from Howard University. I have been working as a social worker for over 25 years. I believe it is important to meet people where they are emotionally and help them identify and achieve their goals.

What should a new client know about working with you?

You will have a safe space to explore your thoughts, feelings and emotions. Everyone is unique and there is no one way to do therapy. My counseling style is strengths based and client centered. I believe in treating everyone with respect and compassion. I assist clients to develop goals and put into action a means to meet those goals. I want you to leave our sessions having learned something about yourself.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
