My journey to mental healthcare Since my undergraduate studies, I have developed a passion for social justice. I graduated from the University of San Diego with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology, emphasizing social justice. I wanted to be in a field where I could work with people individually to assist in identifying and dismantling social constructs that impact their ability to live fulfilling lives. I then pursued a Master's in Social Work from San Diego State University. I have been practicing as a clinical social worker since 2018. I am driven by connecting with clients and working to unlearn the unhelpful personal schemas that impact their daily lives.
