Taking the first step toward healing isn't always easy, and I want to acknowledge your courage in exploring therapy. Seeking support is a powerful decision, and I'm here to help you gain new perspectives, develop healthier coping skills, and navigate life's challenges with confidence. I truly believe that with the right guidance and support, we can empower ourselves to create meaningful change. In our work together, my goal is to create a safe, open, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, valued, and supported. Therapy is a journey, and I'm here to walk alongside you, helping you build resilience, process emotions, and foster personal growth. My approach I take a collaborative and strengths-based approach to therapy, tailoring our work to your unique needs. Using a mix of person-centered therapy, solution-focused techniques, and cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapies (CBT/DBT), I aim to help you challenge unhelpful thought patterns, build self-awareness, and develop strategies that support your well-being. Whether you're managing anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, addictions, or past trauma, we'll work together to set meaningful goals and move toward healing and finding your best self. My focus For the past thirteen years, I've worked with individuals ranging from young to older adults in community mental health settings, providing both individual and group counseling/therapy. My background includes a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice, a Master's in Forensic Psychology, and a Master's in Social Work from Walden University. My diverse experience allows me to take a well-rounded approach to understanding how life experiences, relationships, and personal struggles shape our mental health, which can sometimes hinder our personal growth. My communication style I believe in meeting clients where they are emotionally, mentally, and in their personal journey.
