My name is Anabella Lopez; I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). My philosophy is that I work in partnership with each individual to facilitate their healing and improve their quality of life. I am a therapist with experience of about ten years, mainly working in underserved communities. I am committed to helping children, adolescents, families, and adults. I have experience working with trauma, anxiety, and depression. I use a psychodynamic approach that allows clients to gain self-awareness and understanding of how their past can influence their current behaviors. I believe in taking a collaborative approach to help clients reach their goals. I know that no single approach is the right one for every individual, so I have been trained in various modalities. I have my master’s degree In Counseling Psychology from National University and my bachelor’s degree from CSULA. I am fluent in Spanish and culturally competent in the Latin/Hispanic community.
