Hello, Are you grappling with the complexities of life? Or part of a couple struggling to find harmony? Do you find yourself overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, or emotional challenges that seem insurmountable? I am Dr. Alleyne, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Ph.D. in Health Psychology from Walden University and a certified Relationship Coach. My specialty lies in psychotherapy for adults and couples, enhanced by a holistic blend of evidence-based techniques and functional medicine. As a Relationship Coach, I offer specialized guidance to help you cultivate healthier, more fulfilling connections, whether you're navigating the intricacies of a romantic partnership or seeking to improve other relationships in your life. My approach goes beyond traditional talk therapy; I incorporate natural remedies and lifestyle modifications as viable alternatives to prescription medications, allowing for a comprehensive treatment plan tailored to your unique needs. Navigating the challenges of mental health and relationships can be a daunting task, but you don't have to do it alone. In our work together, I'll provide you with the tools and insights to manage your emotional well-being effectively. Whether you're dealing with stress, relationship issues, or more serious concerns like anxiety or depression, my goal is to offer you a safe and compassionate space to heal and grow. What should a new client know about working with you?

After Your First Session After our initial session, you can expect to walk away with a clearer understanding of the challenges you're facing and the goals you wish to achieve. Our first meeting serves as an opportunity to build rapport and establish a foundation for our therapeutic relationship. You may also receive some initial recommendations or “homework” that will serve as actionable steps to start you on your path to well-being. This could range from lifestyle changes to mindfulness exercises, based on your unique needs and our discussion. Moving Forward As we continue our work together, we'll delve deeper into the issues at hand, employing a blend of evidence-based psychotherapy techniques and functional medicine principles. Being a certified Relationship Coach, I'll also offer specialized guidance for those seeking to improve their interpersonal relationships. Our sessions will be tailored to your evolving needs, incorporating natural remedies and lifestyle adjustments as alternatives to prescription medications where appropriate. Together, we'll formulate and refine a comprehensive treatment plan aimed at achieving your mental, emotional, and relational goals. Long-term Expectations Over time, you should expect to see measurable improvement in your mental health and overall well-being. You’ll gain new coping mechanisms, healthier relational skills, and a more balanced lifestyle. While the journey to full emotional health can be long and challenging, I aim to equip you with the tools and insights necessary to navigate life’s complexities independently. You can expect to leave our therapeutic relationship not just healed but also empowered to face future challenges with resilience and self-assurance.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
