Do you constantly worry or struggle with always thinking about what will happen next? Did you just have a baby and are feeling very overwhelmed, sad, or anxious? Did you experience a traumatic birth? Are you struggling with infertility and often feel you have nobody to talk to? Did you desperately want children and now feel overwhelmed by them? Do you spend a lot of time thinking about your weight or are concerned about your body image? Did you just graduate college, get married, or experience another big life transition? Are you or have you been involved in an unhealthy intimate relationship? You are not alone! So many people experience these same thoughts and struggles (I know I've experienced some of these!). My goal is to help you feel less anxious and more confident. I want you to feel less stress, but also validated in your feelings and experiences. I will work with you to process and work through these thoughts and emotions and come to a place where you can manage these various life stressors. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master's in Social Work from the University of Georgia. I have been a social worker for 9 years and specialize in perinatal mental health, anxiety, life transitions, domestic violence, and eating disorders. Are you ready to process some of your experiences, feel more at ease, less stressed, and more confident? You can contact me through my website! I look forward to working with you!

What should a new client know about working with you?

In our first few sessions together we will focus on building rapport and building a trusting professional relationship. As we continue in the therapeutic journey, we'll establish goals you have for yourself and begin working toward those goals. My goal for our sessions is for you to feel heard and validated, be able to release daily stressors, and build the narrative you wish to live. I hope you are able to process any traumatic experiences you may have, build coping skills, and feel confident and comfortable.
