Hi there, I'm Andres! I am a therapist who enjoys working with diverse individuals and helping you navigate life from a non-judgmental, empathetic, and honest perspective. I hold a Master's in Social Work from California State University, Fresno, which has equipped me with the skills to support a wide range of clients. My approach The therapeutic approach I use is tailored to each individual's needs and goals. In general, I am most comfortable working with CBT, Supportive Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, trauma-based therapy, meditation, and mindfulness. My focus LGBTQ issues, anxiety, depression, life adjustment, interpersonal issues with family/family of choice/partners/friends, adulting, solution-focused therapy, social and emotional support, empowerment, and a bio-psycho-social-environmental perspective. My communication style Providing a safe space where we can explore your situation, problems, beliefs, values, and desires is my number one goal. While I prefer to help you gain fresh perspectives and collaborate on outcomes, I am also not afraid to be directive and hold you accountable when needed. My goals for you I want you to see therapy as a tool to help you thrive in life. Therapy can be whatever you want it to be. The more you share and work on yourself, the better we can develop goals that promote healing and forward movement. My first session with you In our first session, we will get to know each other and discuss what you hope to achieve in therapy.
