“Andrew is an amazing provider. Made me feel comfortable, heard, understood and always had valuable insight to what I had to say or what I was experiencing. Great listener and never felt judged. Was also willing to tell me when I could view things differently, which I appreciated. I didn‚Äôt want someone who always sided with me for the sake of agreeing with me. Will definitely look for him again when I have insurance again haha”

Getting to know Andrew Beltran

Hi there, I'm Andrew! Hello! I am Andrew Beltran, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in California. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling and Forensic Psychology from California Baptist University. I view therapy as an ongoing process that allows an individual to reflect and grow to become their actualized selves. My hope is that therapy equips you with skills to handle life's stressors in productive, healthy ways. My approach I utilize multiple theoretical approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Reality Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. I tailor treatment to the individual, their needs, and comfort level. My focus I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, the severely and persistently mentally ill, and justice-involved individuals. I have treated Anxiety, Bipolar, Depression, Schizophrenia, Trauma, Personality Disorders, Impulse-Control and Conduct Disorders, life transitions/stressors, inner conflict, LGBTQIA+ issues, self-esteem, and interpersonal relationship issues. My communication style I create a comfortable environment where individuals are encouraged to be their authentic selves during sessions. I view therapy as collaborative and regularly obtain client feedback to ensure we are working within the desired space. My journey to mental healthcare Like many, my upbringing was not exactly normal. I have overcome many challenges similar to those you may be experiencing. While no two experiences are the same, my hardships allow me to show empathy and perspective to help others. Being a therapist lets me sit with people at their most authentic selves and help them make meaning of their life experiences. My goals for you After a thorough assessment, I discuss your biggest concerns and what you hope to get out of therapy.

Andrew is the best therapist I've had. He is incredibly thoughtful, intelligent and an excellent communicator. It's obvious Andrew is passionate about his work. I typically leave my session with detailed things to work on and he even sends supportive texts when he knows I'm struggling to get through a hard time at work or home. I appreciate the work he does and I know he has made many of our lives better - and that's a pretty cool thing!
