Getting to know Andrew Cedrone
Helping adolescents cope since 1999. As a school counselor for more than twenty years in and around the greater Boston area, I have come to appreciate today's complex social-emotional needs of tweens, teens, and emerging young adults. I have supported the mental health of hundreds, if not thousands, of youth over the years through approachable, solution-focused counseling sessions. My process is casual, relatable, yet goal-oriented in order to connect with today's youth and coach them through the challenges they face. I hold an MEd in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Massachusetts. In addition to my private practice, I currently serve as the Mental Health Coordinator for a public school district, an iDecide Diversion Instructor, Middle School School Adjustment Counselor, and the co-founder of a College Success Summer Program. In my personal life, I enjoy obsessing over sneakers I'm not cool enough to wear, watching my sons play soccer, sailing my renovated sailboat around the Upper Mystic, and waiting for the Boston Celtics to win banner number eighteen.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Clients can expect a relationship based, non-judgmental, coaching style of support from me. I will work on connecting with clients in order to gain trust. Once trust is established, I will meet the client where they are to help promote self reflective skills and foster their ability to reach their personal goals.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
