I am passionate about mental health and chose to do this work because I myself have walked through my own struggles and have had to do the difficult work of becoming self-aware and building a life that I am passionate about living. I work with individuals to address issues related to anxiety, substance abuse, relational difficulties, trauma, life transitions, mood, and anger. I specialize in these areas because I not only have formal training in them but also have first-hand experience in walking through many of these issues myself, as well as helping others do the same. I take a relational and skills-based approach to therapy in exploring how we can get our needs met in healthier ways. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addiction Counselor with an MA, I bring both my professional expertise and personal insights into our sessions. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where you feel heard and understood. Together, we will work on developing practical skills and strategies to help you navigate life's challenges and transitions.
