Psychotherapist
4200 S Hulen St, Ste 658, Fort Worth, TX
In my almost two decades of experience as a therapist, I’ve learned that life can become difficult in ways people never expected, leaving them feeling lost, frustrated, angry, or hopeless - especially when their attempts to solve problems haven’t worked as hoped. Whether you’re dealing with relationship or family struggles, professional stress, major life changes, addiction, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can provide a place to better understand what’s happening and build practical ways to move forward. I work with people, both individually and as couples, navigating life's challenges including relationship and communication issues, anger and emotional management, stress, grief, substance use, parenting difficulties, and life transitions such as marriage, career changes, becoming a parent, or loss of a loved one. While reaching out for help through therapy can be a daunting decision for some people, facing difficult issues early and openly tends to be the quickest route to resolution and peace. Given this, my approach to therapy is direct, practical, and collaborative. I see my role in therapy as a mix of coach, consultant, and teammate, helping to guide you to where you want to be in life. While I take a no-nonsense approach to therapy, I also believe deeply in meeting people with empathy, respect, and understanding. Therapy isn't about judgment, but about helping you identify what is not working, build useful skills, and find realistic solutions that fit your life. Ultimately, my goal is to help you face life's difficulties head-on by providing practical tools and personalized support greater confidence. I earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Neuropsychology from The University of Texas at Tyler and am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). While I love meeting with clients in-person, I also offer a virtual option to provide flexibility in meeting your needs and schedule.
