Getting to know Aneesah Landry
I'm Aneesah Landry, a licensed professional counselor in the state of Georgia. I provide therapy tailored to the unique needs of each client, with the goal of helping to relieve or reduce the burdens you may be feeling. I earned my Master's in Clinical Mental Health and Counseling Psychology from Troy State University, which has equipped me with the skills to support you effectively.
My approach
The most common theoretical approaches I use during counseling sessions include person-centered therapy, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral therapy. However, therapy is always customized to fit your individual needs.
My focus
I work with a variety of clients, most of whom struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, or relationship issues. While I am comfortable treating a wide range of concerns, I welcome the opportunity to consult with you to determine how I can best assist you.
My communication style
My communication style is positive, upbeat, yet calming. It's okay to just be yourself with me. I accept you as you are, regardless of how you feel about yourself or what you have experienced in your past.
My journey to therapy
From my earliest memories, I have wanted to help others. I noticed early on that some people struggled with everyday tasks, and I wanted to find a way to bring joy back into their lives. I have a great passion for what I do, and I hope you come to therapy expecting to experience life each day on better terms than today.

In the first couple of sessions, we will develop a treatment plan to set clear goals for therapy. You can feel confident knowing that each session is purposeful and focused on helping you reach those targets.
