UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. Hi! I'm Angie. When helping with psychological challenges-those impacting thoughts and emotions-I use a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach. I focus on the specific needs of each individual. Depending on those needs and desires, spiritual and physical factors can also be considered. I look at the whole person: thoughts, feelings, circumstances, actions, behaviors, symptom presentation, personality temperament, relationships, physical conditions impacting mental health, and other factors influencing our thoughts, emotions, and actions. I hold a Master's in Counseling from Liberty University and a Bachelor's degree from Averett University. It is my passion and hope to enable others to be the best version of themselves, to enjoy who they are, and to live life to the fullest.
