Getting to know Angela Cruz

Hello, I'm Angela. Each person walks a unique path in life, and our experiences shape who we are. I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to be heard and understood. Incredible change can come from knowing that you are not alone and that others care about your experiences and who you are as a person. I started working in the behavioral health field in 2004 and completed my Master's degree in Social Work from the Indiana University School of Social Work in 2009. Since 2016, I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). My experience spans working with individuals facing co-occurring disorders such as addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma, and psychosis. I've had the privilege of working in various treatment settings, including crisis intervention, inpatient, residential, and outpatient care. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults from all cultural backgrounds and sexual identities. By using various therapeutic approaches, I help clients view their issues from new perspectives they may not have considered before. I believe that changing the way you think can significantly influence how you feel and behave. My goal is to support you on your mental and emotional journey through change.
