IMPORTANT: Thriveworks cannot provide services to clients with Medicaid coverage. If you have Medicaid, please contact your plan directly to find an in-network provider. For all other insurance plans, Thriveworks will verify your benefits after you book through Zocdoc. If verification isn't completed before your visit, you'll be charged our self-pay rate of $200 for that session. AFTER YOU BOOK: Complete these steps to avoid cancellation or being switched to self-pay. 1. Check your email for instructions to set up your Thriveworks account. Within your Thriveworks’ account, sign consent forms and add a valid credit card, which will be automatically charged for copays, fees, post-insurance balances, and self-pay amounts. 2. If using insurance, upload clear photos of the front and back of your insurance card. 3. Expect a confirmation call from our team to verify your information and answer questions. CANCELLATION POLICY: Provide 48 hours advance notice to avoid the $135 late cancellation fee. I believe that everyone has a story worth hearing and that healing begins in a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC), I earned my Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University and my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Georgia State University, graduating summa cum laude. I enjoy working with adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief, and life transitions. Together, we'll build on your strengths and work toward lasting growth and healing. I especially welcome veterans. I believe healing begins with feeling heard. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. Using evidence-based techniques, I help clients develop practical coping skills, build resilience, process difficult experiences, and move toward lasting emotional wellness. Change is possible, and healing begins one step at a time.
