“their warmth. Their genuine interest in my well-being was evident, instantly putting me at ease. This warmth extended beyond mere pleasantries; it laid the foundation for a trusting relationship essential for therapeutic progress. What truly sets my therapist apart is their empowering approach. They have a knack for guiding me towards self-discovery and empowerment rather than simply offering solutions. Their directness cuts through the noise, gently nudging me to confront uncomfortable truths and make meaningful changes. This approach fosters a sense of agency, allowing me to take ownership of my journey towards healing.”

Getting to know Angelique Langston

In my work to support others over the years, I've found that this adage holds true: "Everything in life is about perspective." Ironically, we hear it all the time but don't always know how to change ours, and that is exactly what good therapy should help you do. With a deep commitment to understanding the challenges that trauma, pain, and grief can bring, I'm here to help you navigate life's transitions. I hold a Master's in Clinical Social Work from San Jose State University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to provide compassionate, effective care. The power of perspective: I am dedicated to the idea that perspective plays a pivotal role in shaping our reality, and I see you as a unique individual with your own story, struggles, and strengths. By exploring and helping you expand your perspective, you will gain the tools needed to redefine what is meaningful in your life.

What should a new client know about working with you?

You can expect empathy, respect, and my genuine desire to understand your thoughts and emotions in our therapy sessions. I know that well-being goes beyond the mind, encompassing our emotional, physical, and social identities. As a result, our time together will be held in a space free of judgment and criticism. I will encourage you to authentically explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences, as acceptance is our primary foundation. Will you be ""cured"" after one session? No, but will you be one step closer to who you ultimately want to be? Yes!

In-network insurances

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
