What should a new client know about working with you?

My aim is to create a caring therapeutic relationship with you that is founded in empathy, trust, and respect. Together we will create a safe and open environment for brave and insightful explorations. I offer collaborative, client-centered therapy that supports the development of personal insights and practical coping skills through curiosity, mindfulness, and compassion. My approach is holistic, trauma informed, and relational and informed by a variety of clinical perspectives including psychodynamic theory, attachment theory, somatic practices, and mindful self-compassion with an emphasis on tailoring treatment to you and your personal goals. I have experience and passion for working with issues of anxiety, depression, codependence, people pleasing, perfectionism, relationship challenges, identity exploration and development, stress management, career and life transitions, substance use, and childhood trauma.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I will support you in developing a deeper understanding and acceptance of yourself and your ability to be present with uncomfortable emotions as the foundation to changing your life in the ways that are important to you. Our work will be infused with curious and compassionate exploration as well as the development of practical skills so that you can live with more ease, confidence, and authenticity.
