I'm an experienced child, family and adult therapist and my specialities include treating anxiety, depression, trauma (e.g., Complex PTSD/Religious/Attachment Trauma), self-esteem, emotional regulation, relational/life stressors, parenting/caregiving skills, and grief + loss.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I usually work from the Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Christian Counseling therapeutic frameworks. I am also heavily influenced by Attachment, Polyvagal, and Internal Family System Theories.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Services begin with an initial phone consultation to discuss what I can offer and answer any questions the prospective client may have. If both agree it's a good therapeutic match, an intake and evaluative appointment will occur (which can take of 2 hrs to gather all necessary data) along with the development of a SMART goal-oriented treatment plan created collaboratively together to address client-identified specifics issue areas, and then weekly or bi-weekly sessions will be scheduled to begin treatment.
