Getting to know Anna Miller

Hello, I'm Anna, a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. With over 20 years of experience in the field of mental health and substance use disorders, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of individuals, from adolescents to adults, including active duty military, veterans, and those navigating the complexities of co-occurring disorders and trauma. My therapeutic philosophy is rooted in the belief that everyone has the capacity for change and growth. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, and work towards your personal goals. Whether you're dealing with addiction, anxiety, depression, or relationship issues, my approach is tailored to meet your unique needs and help you find the path to healing and recovery. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling and am a Certified Addiction Specialist. My extensive experience includes working with individuals mandated by the court system, those on probation (both state and federal), and individuals facing various mental health challenges such as PTSD, bipolar disorder, and psychosis. I also specialize in supporting the LGBTQIA+ community, addressing gender identity concerns, and providing care for those experiencing suicidal ideation or self-harming behaviors. When we work together, you can expect a collaborative and empathetic approach. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and am committed to helping you navigate life's challenges with compassion and understanding. My goal is to empower you to make positive changes and achieve a greater sense of well-being. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring the outdoors, and staying active. These personal interests help me stay grounded and bring a balanced perspective to my work. If you're ready to take the first step towards a healthier, more fulfilling life, I invite you to reach out. Let's work together to create the change you seek.
