Getting to know Annemarie Colosimo
I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with over 20 years of experience. My focus is always to work in collaboration with each client to develop a treatment plan that best addresses the areas they would like to work on. I accomplish this by developing a trusting therapeutic relationship, utilizing the client's strengths, and offering guidance to strengthen motivation to reach their goals.
I received my Master's in Social Work from Case Western Reserve University after earning my Bachelor's Degree in Social Work. I obtained an independent license to practice and have also received a supervisory designation.
I love working with people, but also enjoy spending time with my husband and our dog Scout, traveling, playing pickleball, and attending major league baseball games.
What should a new client know about working with you?
When people are struggling, they want to be heard, validated, and feel that there is hope. Their goal may be to just feel better, but they need help figuring out how to get there. They want someone they can talk to without fear of judgement and who can help them process their thoughts and emotions in a way that they may not have done in the past. They want to feel that the support they desire does exist and is accessible.
Reaching out for support can be a difficult step, but I know one thing to be true, it does get better. The importance of feeling heard, being reflective, & taking time to work on you can not be underestimated. I work in collaboration with each client to develop a treatment plan that best addresses the areas they would like to work on. Take the first step!

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
