Hi there, I'm Annette! My name is Annette Puga, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Art Therapist based in San Dimas, California. With my training in art therapy, I use creative approaches to help individuals communicate and work through life's challenges. My approach My approach to therapy depends on what my client needs at the time. I use techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for depression and anxiety, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help individuals cope with difficult feelings. For trauma, I integrate Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy interventions to support healing. My focus I specialize in working with adults facing multiple life challenges, including life transitions and relationship or family stress, which can contribute to depression and anxiety. I also treat individuals experiencing trauma-related symptoms. My communication style I am a good listener who is empathic and caring, which helps people feel comfortable sharing their experiences. I am also respectful and genuine in my interactions. My journey to mental healthcare I became a therapist because I have always wanted to help people. I enjoy connecting with others and being part of their healing journey. I feel that being a therapist is my purpose or “gift” to support others. My goals for you I like to work collaboratively with you to identify the goals you want to focus on in therapy.
