Hi there, I'm Anthony!
I am so glad you are here. Right away, I want to highlight that wherever you have been, whatever you have been through, and whatever you are holding – ALL is welcome. The fact that you are here, now, reading this, is evidence of life-force. However small, hidden, or seemingly dim the ember of your life-force currently feels to you, it exists. You exist, and that is wonderful! Your journey has led you here, and my role in this journey is to assist you in kindling your ember of life-force until it brings you fully alive, with unobstructed access to the present moment, and with it your truth, authenticity, and joy.
My approach
I work from a curious, spontaneous, imaginative, and often playful perspective, acknowledging and trusting the profound wisdom and goodness in everyone, assisting others to uncover their own inherent worthiness, belonging, meaning, and sacredness. My work combines the body-oriented Somatic Experiencing approach and Jungian, Indigenous, and Buddhist psychologies. I additionally utilize EMDR, Internal Family Systems, mindfulness, and dreamwork. All of that is to say, my approach is multidimensional, eclectic, and - I hope - fun! (Don't worry, we'll do the deep work, too.)
My focus
There are countless reasons for consciously or unconsciously hiding your light. Perhaps you have experienced trauma – physical, mental, emotional, sexual, and/or spiritual; perhaps you have felt socially ostracized for simply being yourself; perhaps you have grieved losses of people or things you love; or perhaps you have struggled with feelings of anxiety, doubt, futility, stuckness, and confusion without knowing why. Perhaps your suffering has led to addiction to substances, people, or behaviors, or perhaps it has led you to feel as if you’re leading an unfulfilling or inauthentic life. Perhaps it has been pathologized, labeled, and caused you to feel as if you are “broken,” in which case I want you to know that you are NOT your diagnosis.
