Hi, I'm April, and I'm here to work with you. The past few years have shown us that we all have times when we may need someone to talk to. We can no longer sit on thoughts without a safe space to share and work through them. I help those who want to be a better version of themselves.
I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Salisbury University, which has equipped me to support you effectively. My approach is to view you not only as an individual but as a part of your environment as well. Whether you are entering a new phase in your life, dealing with an unresolved issue, anxiety, or depression, I’m here to help. Therapy may challenge you at times, but growth comes from those moments, and I’m here with you. The therapeutic process looks different for everyone. Let’s take the first step.
What should a new client know about working with you?
After our first session expect to have some questions about what the process will be. Subsequent sessions should leave you with small tasks to review and over time you will come to sessions with a clear goal of what you want to address.
More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
