Getting to know Araby Boykin

Life has a way of presenting us with many challenges that can become overwhelming and interrupt our sense of peace and joy. My goal is to help each client find the best way to approach these struggles using their unique strengths and abilities. I have experience working with adults who have mood disorders, personality disorders, psychotic disorders, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and trauma. I enjoy helping people along their journey to overcome obstacles and reach their full potential using multiple therapeutic modalities and interventions such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), SFT (Solution Focused Therapy), Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness. I hold a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Montreat College. I am also nationally board certified and a member of the American Counseling Association.
