Getting to know Arianna Fernandez

Originally, I had dreams of becoming a medical doctor but always believed that a person's overall wellness depends on both physical and psychological health. However, during the latter part of my undergraduate studies, unexpected life events led to an impactful shift in focus, and I felt called to a more specific purpose regarding caring for people. I then pivoted and shifted my studies, ultimately achieving a Bachelor’s degree from Florida International University, where I majored in Psychology and minored in Biology. Always staying true to my heart, I executed the shift from biological to psychological health by enrolling in graduate school and receiving a Master’s degree in Psychology from Carlos Albizu University. While at Carlos Albizu, I studied a dual major in Mental Health and Marriage and Family Therapy. I completed my practicum at Milestones to Recovery, where I found my passion for treating individuals with eating disorders, addictions, and substance use disorders. This was the beginning of my long career in treatment. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with over 12 years of experience in the mental health field and substance abuse treatment. I currently reside in Boca Raton, FL, with my husband and two French bulldogs. In my pursuit of being part of someone's healing and learning about people, I have held multiple professional roles throughout the years, starting as a primary therapist in residential, Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient, and Outpatient settings at both eating disorder and substance use treatment programs. I later transitioned to lead therapist, supervisor, program director roles, and Chief of Operations. For the past six years, I have served in many clinical roles and most recently as the Chief Clinical Officer for a well-established non-profit addiction treatment center in Delray Beach. My goal is to provide comprehensive, compassionate care tailored to each individual's unique needs.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
