Hi there, I'm Ariel! My name is Ariel Corniel. I've been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida for approximately 20 years. I hold a Master's in Social Work and a Master's in Business Administration, both from Barry University. Through the use of cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing techniques, I hope to help clients make the changes they desire. My approach I often implement cognitive behavioral and motivational interviewing techniques. However, I'll also use other methods based on what might work best for each client. My focus I'm most comfortable working with folks dealing with depression, anxiety, and individuals seeking to navigate challenging life situations. My communication style I won't provide you with answers because I believe my role is to help you arrive at your own conclusions. As a result, I'm known to challenge a client's thought process and present different viewpoints, helping clients reframe difficult situations. My journey to mental healthcare I was drawn to a career as a therapist mainly because I saw the need for others to have a trusted source to process their feelings and feel supported. I find joy in helping others overcome difficult situations and develop skills to better cope.
