When we work together, my goal is to help you feel understood—not just by me, but by yourself. Many people come to therapy feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or confused by the mix of thoughts, feelings, and emotions inside. If that sounds familiar, there is a reason you do, and we can gently work together to uncover your truth. My approach I use Internal Family Systems (IFS), an approach that helps you get to know the different “parts” within you—like parts that keep everything under control, feel like impostors, worry constantly, and more. In therapy, we will get curious and learn to understand your inner world, and help you determine what is best for your system. My focus I work with healers, professionals, artists, creatives, meditators, and others who are used to holding space for others. Whether you spend your days caring for others, leading, or creating, it's common to push your needs aside, feel like an imposter, feel like you have to be perfect, and have issues with relationships. My communication style I will work collaboratively with you, and we will listen to you and your system. As you learn and gain new insights, we'll work together to keep the work meaningful and supportive as you move toward your goals. My journey to mental healthcare My journey began when I saw caregivers facing challenges that few understand. My belief is that everyone can grow/change/ and find more wholeness, creativity, clarity, connectedness, and better relationships with yourself and others. My goals for you I see therapy as a partnership. Together we'll work together —whether making boundaries, feeling more confident, working with perfectionism or low self-worth, or learning how to work with your emotions. We'll look at what's working and what isn't, and may modify your goals as we go along. My first session with you Welcome! I am looking forward to meeting you. Our first session together will be an intake session, which is primarily a chance for us to get to know one another.
