Arielle Werblun, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
Hi there, I'm Arielle! My name is Arielle Werblun, LMFT. I earned my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Northridge. As a therapist supporting people who struggle with high-functioning anxiety, codependency, and symptoms of trauma, I collaborate with my clients to get out of their own heads - and their own ways. My approach In my practice, I tend to utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and postmodern approaches like Narrative Therapy, all with an emotionally focused lens. My focus My clients are often highly motivated to reflect, explore, and evolve. Codependency, attachment issues, eating disorders, and anxiety are some main areas of focus in my practice - as I have had professional and personal experience with all of the above. I have a true passion for helping people who struggle with these challenges (and more) recognize their own worth - and then further align their behaviors with their shifted, uplifted perspective of themselves. My communication style I find that a soft yet assertive approach is most effective in sessions, no matter the content. I want to meet my clients where they're at on any given day; some days might look more goal-oriented, whereas others are more process-oriented. All that to say, I've been told therapy doesn't always feel like therapy with me, which I'll take as a good thing! My journey to mental healthcare I sometimes joke that I've been a therapist since I was in the womb. In all seriousness though-I love what I do, and there's not much else I can picture myself doing. Connecting with people on a deeper level, helping them feel less alone in their struggles, and reminding them of their agency is a practice I simply will never stop.
