I focus more on behavior, behavior modification techniques, and emotion regulation. Eysenck (1964) claimed that ‘Behaviour therapy may be defined as the attempt to alter human behaviour and emotion in a beneficial manner according to the laws of modern learning theory. I teach emotion regulation is a process of assisting you with understanding how you experience different emotions in your body and your behavior. I aim to increase psychological flexibility using a mindfulness-based approach with behavior change strategies. I utilize my whole self, humor, life work, role play, and reading assignments to assist us on this journey. My focus I love working with individuals who aren't afraid to bring faith into their journey towards mental health. If you're open to the idea of using the Word of God as a tool, we're going to make a fabulous team! I enjoy working closely with people who are motivated to take on life assignments and grow along the way. With a dash of humor, oceans of empathy, and a partnership built on understanding, we're going to make strides on your journey to personal well-being together.
