Getting to know Ashley Abarca

My role as your therapist is not to tell you what to do or who to be, but to walk alongside you as you discover that for yourself. Using a client-centered, non-directive approach, I collaborate with you to create goals that meet your unique needs. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and together we’ll explore healing methods and coping strategies for anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorders, ADHD, PTSD, and identity concerns. I provide a supportive and affirming space for adults and younger adults, including the queer community, veterans, and diverse populations. My goal is to help you recognize and build upon your strengths, fostering safety, growth, and lasting change. You don’t have to walk this journey alone—healing is possible here. My approach I use a client-centered and collaborative approach, meaning therapy is guided by your goals and needs rather than a one-size-fits-all method. My role is to walk alongside you—not push or prescribe—while we explore different healing strategies tailored to your unique experiences. I integrate a non-directive style with supportive interventions to address anxiety, depression, trauma, and identity concerns. I emphasize empowerment, helping clients recognize their own strengths as the foundation for growth, resilience, and lasting change. My focus I work with adults and younger adults who may be navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorders, ADHD, PTSD, or challenges around relationships and identity. Many of my clients are seeking a safe space to explore their authenticity, sexuality, or gender identity, while others are working through life transitions, stress, or family dynamics. I provide affirming care for the queer community, veterans, and individuals from diverse backgrounds. My focus is on meeting you where you are, supporting your healing journey, and helping you build confidence and resilience by recognizing and strengthening your own inner resources.
