“I've been seeing Ashley Cyrus weekly for a while now and can honestly say she is the best therapist I could have ever hoped for. She's a great listener who seems to know right when I need feedback the most. She makes me consider things I hadn't before and she urges me to give myself permission to do things I didn't think I could. I also really appreciate how she remembers things I've said in the past. And not because she's referring to notes. She'll actually remember specific discussions and it shows she truly cares about my words and feelings. One thing I personally struggle with is my neurodivergence. I didn't know what to do about my diagnosis before starting therapy and Ashley has helped me work through a lot of questions and confusing topics. I appreciate that she will gently point out when things might actually be symptoms of my diagnosis. Her ability to make me feel validated in that way is comforting and I find that it gets me to focus on the important things versus the trivial ones. Another element I admire is her ability to help me find solutions to problems that seem impossible. She helps me break things down into smaller tasks or brings up ways that could shift my viewpoint so that life feels more manageable. Throughout each week I challenge myself to utilize the skills we've worked on so that I can continually improve. Ashley is a true hero and I'm grateful to have found her. ”

Hi, I am Ashley Cyrus, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of La Verne. My goal as your therapist is to provide caring support to help you overcome challenges that are keeping you from meeting your personal life goals and reaching your full potential. I believe that each person offers unique talents and contributes in their own way. My approach I utilize an integrative therapy approach, combining theoretical methods such as Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused, Motivational Interviewing, Family Systems, Meditation/Mindfulness, Trauma-Focused, Attachment-Based, and Strength-Based therapy. I tailor my therapy services to meet the individual needs of each client. My focus I enjoy working with adult clients and couples experiencing concerns related to Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Adoption, Anxiety, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Depression, Intellectual Disability, racial/cultural identity, relationship issues, self-esteem, Trauma, and Spirituality. My communication style I aim to help individuals identify and draw upon their personal strengths through an active and engaging therapeutic process. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where clients are met where they are in their lives. I incorporate therapeutic skills and techniques such as authenticity, compassion, mindfulness, and cognitive restructuring, and when appropriate, I use humor to assist clients in working through life's obstacles and achieving what happiness and success look like for them.
