“she was late a few visits but I was late today in general I have problems with the limit on how much is acceptable to write I wish for a character counter so I would know how many characters were left so I don't lose my writing this has nothing to do with the therapist she is doing her job and I trust her this is a good fit for me it's the system it ought to either warn you about the character limit I know it's a pain in the neck to make an adjustment to programming and don't expect that or it'd be nice if it didn't delete your text after you hit the submit button but I'll remember next time to copy paste to a word processor before hitting the submit button you might post a warning to say content might be deleted after hitting submit button putting that warning would be easier to code but the character counter would be nice or not having the character cap is it really necessary? It annoys me the whole thing.”

I have over 26 years of clinical experience working with diverse classifications of diagnoses, ethnicity, ages, and cultural backgrounds. The most frequent symptoms I can help with are managing ADHD, Depression, Bipolar disorder, anxiety, trauma, parenting, burnout, insomnia, COVID trauma, grief, and anger. I utilize a mix of CBT and motivational interviewing low key with a fair amount of optimism because CBT helps measure things and motivational interviewing is more people-friendly. My research interests are managing grief as result of pregnancy or child loss and counseling victims of gaslighting and narcissistic relationships. I constantly explore new treatment approaches and client experiences. I am an experienced LPC-S licensed by the LA licensed Professional Counselors Board of Examiners 3997. I am also a board approved supervisor in Louisiana. I am a LCMHC in the state of North Carolina (LPC) 19111.

What should a new client know about working with you?
My clients can expect to see pieces of themselves they didn't know were there or pieces of themselves they haven't seen in a while. My clients may see things differently with more compassion for others and themselves. I formulate a fluid treatment plan during our first session and ask you if that sounds like something you would be interested in working on. Pressure may not feel like a good thing, but sometimes pressure can create a beautiful thing.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
